Launching the Community Sector Blueprint!

At the end of 2022 we released the Community Sector Blueprint: a National Framework for Minimum Energy Efficiency Rental Requirements

The Blueprint was the result of a collaborative effort by HH4R supporters and was endorsed by more than 85 organisations. It was recognised as a necessary resource for our campaign - providing a clear idea of what a good national framework for renters could look like. So far the Blueprint has helped to inform multiple national and state submissions relating to rental law and energy policy. Which is music to our ears!

Now that we have a final version of The Blueprint, we’re partnering with ACOSS, Better Renting, EEC, PIAC and TUNSW to formally launch and we’d love for you to join us!

We have a great lineup of speakers including core authors of the Blueprint who will speak to its  background, purpose, and effective use in your advocacy. We will also be joined by two renters who will share their lived experiences of living in unhealthy deficient homes and what having a healthy, energy efficient home would mean for them. This will be followed by a Q&A where you can ask any questions you have about the Blueprint or anything else related.

Details of the event:

  • When: Friday 10 March, 1pm to 2.30pm AEDT

  • Where: Online via Zoom
